Children's Education Program
Cincinnati Bell Directory Yellow Pages is dedicated to and has been a long time supporter
of the local communities in which we operate. To this end, the Cincinnati Bell Yellow
Pages actively sponsors business & community events in Hamilton, Butler &
Clermont counties as well as Northern Kentucky.
Additionally, for over ten years the Cincinnati Bell Directory Yellow Pages has offered a
free educational curriculum designed to help students utilize the information in
the yellow pages and help teach lifestyle skills which will prepare the for the
challenges of everyday living.
The program, developed primarily for the 4th through 6th grade students, uses an
interdisciplinary approach to reinforce basic skills and present a variety of critical
thinking activities. Utilizing reference material in the Cincinnati Bell Yellow
Pages, students learn to: locate information, utilize basic math skills, read maps,
alphabetize, use zip codes, and become familiar with their community. Over seventy-five
schools throughout the tri-state participate annually - for more information on
how to receive this free program for your school, call (513) 397-6794.
As a part of the free educational program, schools may also select to participate
in the Children's Art Program and the Educational rewards Program.
In the Children's Art Program, students can artistically express "their favorite
thing in the Cincinnati Bell Directory Yellow Pages" which may be selected to appear in the
directory.
In the Education rewards Program, teachers can enter their classrooms to win $250
for the school. It's easy to enter, students just write why they use Cincinnati
Bell Yellow Pages on the official entry form, which is a part of the educational
